  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 6 Tbsp. hot cocoa mix
  • mini marshmallows
  • 2 silicone sphere molds

  • Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 2 minutes, or until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
  • Add a heaping tablespoon of melted chocolate into each cavity. Using the back of a spoon, spread chocolate until each cavity is completely covered.
  • Place silicone mold on a baking sheet and place in the freezer for 10 minutes or until chocolate has completely hardened.
  • Remove mold from the freezer. Gently press on the bottom of the sphere to release the chocolate from the mold.
  • Place a small skillet on the stove and set to low. Take 3 of the chocolate spheres, while holding them gently, lightly press them on the skillet for 1 second to melt the edge. You don’t want to press the chocolate hard in the skillet.
  • Fill the three spheres that were lightly melted with 1 Tbsp. cocoa mix, and mini marshmallows.
  • Take the three empty spheres and lightly press them on the skillet for 1 second to melt the edge. Working quickly and gently, place the empty sphere on the cocoa filled sphere. It doesn’t take long for the edges to seal. Try to handle the chocolate as little as possible.
  •  Place white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for two minutes, or until chocolate is melted and smooth, stirring every 30 seconds. Pour melted chocolate into a piping bag, and drizzle over hot chocolate bombs. Add sprinkles, candy cane bits, or dusting powder.
  • Let bombs set at room temperature or in the fridge for 10 minutes before packaging.
