  • ¾ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • tbsp Worcestershire sauce (divided)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and move rack to the middle of the oven. Prepare a 13 x 9 baking dish by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray. Set Aside.
  • Over medium heat melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet. Add diced onions, green peppers, salt, and black pepper, and cook until soft and browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Without separating the rolls, cut 1 12 pack package Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl melt 8 tablespoons of butter and whisk in Worcestershire sauce. Brush 1/2 the mixture over the top of the bottom layer of the rolls.
  • Evenly top with roast beef slices and spread the onions and peppers in an even layer over the roast beef. Evenly top with 6 slices of cheese overlap if needed.
  • Add top half of Hawaiian sweet rolls. With the remaining melted butter whisk in garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush all of the remaining melted butter mixture over the top of the dinner rolls.
  • Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is completely melted.
  • Server while hot and enjoy!
