Ingredients
  

  • 28 oz whole canned tomatoes with juice
  • ½ cup cilantro (fresh chopped, loosely packed)
  • 2 jalapeno (seeds and rib removed)
  • ¾ cup white onion (chopped into quarters)
  • tbsp lime juice (fresh squeezed)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor or blender, add tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, garlic, cilantro, cumin, salt, black pepper, sugar, and lime juice.
  • Blend until you reach your desired consistency. Add more salt and pepper to taste and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
