Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. strawberries, sliced
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1 loaf pound cake or angel food cake
  • 1 8oz cool whip
  • blue food coloring

Instructions
 

  • In a medium size mixing bowl combine sliced strawberries and sugar until well combined. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least an hour. This allows the strawberries to macerate and become juicy. Add food coloring to cool whip and stir to combine well. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
