Leprechaun Bait (Saint Patricks Day Chex Mix)

Leprechaun Bait - a festive twist on white chocolate and powdered sugar-coated Chex Cereal, tossed with chocolatey M&M’s, crunchy pretzels, and tasty Lucky Charms marshmallows for a mix that is perfect for a St. Patrick’s Day snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups Chex Cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup powder sugar
  • 1 cup Lucky Charms marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup M&M's
  • 1 cup mini pretzels

Instructions
 

  • Melt white chocolate chips and butter in the microwave for 25-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted.
  • Pour the chocolate over the Chex cereal and gently stir until the chocolate evenly covers the cereal.
  • Using a large Zip-Lock bag, pour powder sugar and cereal into the bag and shake until the sugar covers the cereal.
  • Pour the cereal mix evenly onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, and let sit until the chocolate has hardened.
  • Next, pour the cereal mix into a large bowl. Add the marshmallows, M&M's, and pretzels and mix them together.
