Cookie Dough

  • 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cake batter flavoring
  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles


  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 tsp. cake batter flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups powdered sugar


  • Preheat oven to 350F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and cake batter flavoring and continue beating until combined.
  • Slowly add flour and baking powder to wet ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.

  • Scoop out 1/3 cup cookie dough and roll into a ball. Gently flatten cookie dough into the shape of a hockey puck.
  • Place 6 cookies on prepared baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 15-17 minutes or until the center has puffed up and the tops are no longer glossy. *Be careful not to over bake cookies*
  • While cookies are cooling, prepare the frosting by beating softened butter and softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Slowly add powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
  • Add cake batter flavoring and vanilla until combined.
  • Spoon frosting into a gallon size zip lock bag or a large piping bag with a large piping tip. Frost each cookie and add extra sprinkles if desired. Enjoy!
