  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 1 1/2-2 lbs. tilapia
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter

Fish Taco Sauce

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. siracha sauce

  • 1/2 small red cabbage, chopped
  • 2 medium avocados, sliced
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 1 cup cotija cheese
  • 2 limes, cut into slices

  • Preheat oven to 375F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small mixing bowl combine chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, and salt and sprinkle evenly over both sides of tilapia.
  • Cut unsalted butter into even squares and place on top of fish. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Broil fish for an additional 3-5 minutes for nice crispy edges.
  • While fish is baking, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic powder, and siracha sauce in a medium bowl until combined.
  • To serve tacos, lightly toast corn tortillas on a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until warm.
  • Assemble tacos by adding pieces of fish, red cabbage, avocado, cotija cheese, cilantro, and a lime wedge. Drizzle taco generously with fish taco sauce. Enjoy!
