Copycat Dirt Cake Crumbl Cookie Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • ½ cup butter softened butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup dutch cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 7 crushed Oreos with the filling removed.

Chocolate Frosting

  • ½ cup softened butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp dutch cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Using a mixing bowl cream together softened butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  • Add salt, baking soda, and dutch cocoa powder and mix until blended.
  • Slowly mix in all-purpose flour and mix. Scrape the sides of the bowl if need to make sure everything is mixed well.
  • Use a 2-inch cookie scoop, place the dough on the lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 mins.

Chocolate Frosting

  • Cream together softened butter and vanilla.
  • Slowly mix in dutch cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, melt chocolate chips in the microwave for 25 seconds at a time until the chocolate is completely melted. Let the chocolate cool for 2-3 mins. and then add it to the frosting mixture.
  • If your frosting is too thick add in 1 tbsp of heavy cream at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Once the cookies are completely cool frost using a piping tip. If you don't have a piping tip you can frost like normal.
  • Sprinkle with crushed Oreos.
