Apples
Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease bundt pan with butter or cooking spray.
Peel, core and dice apples into 1/4-inch pieces. Toss with lemon juice and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
In a saute pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add the apples and sauté for 7-10 minutes, until soft. Cool slightly.
Monkey bread
Open the biscuit tubes and cut each biscuit into four bite-sized pieces.
In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Stir to combine.
Gently drop dough pieces into the bowl and cover with the cinnamon sugar mixture. It's best to do this in batches.
Alternate layering diced apple and dough bites in the bundt pan.
Carmel sauce
In a small saucepan, add 1 cup unsalted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture from the dough. Stir gently and bring to a boil. When sugar is dissolved, drizzle the sauce over tbe bundt pan.
Bake in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until done. Allow the monkey bread to rest for approximately 5 minutes. Then invert onto a large plate.
