This easy creamy cottage cheese alfredo sauce recipe is lower in fat than traditional alfredo sauce, and it is lower in fat thanks to the cottage cheese! With low fat milk and cottage cheese, spices, and parmesan cheese, this alfredo sauce will become your new favorite pasta sauce as soon as you try it!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups low fat milk
  • 1 cup low fat cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano

Instructions
 

  • In a blender or food processor, add milk, cottage cheese, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese. Blend until smooth
  • Pour alfredo sauce and dried oregano into a large skillet and heat over medium heat until slightly thick.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite pasta. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
