If you love cookie dough, you are going to love our Edible Cookie Dough recipe. This easy no bake recipe is made without eggs and uses heat treated flour, so it's safe to eat by the spoonful's. If you have 10 minutes and basic pantry staples, you are going to love this eggless cookie dough.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heat treated flour *see notes on how to heat treat*
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Add butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt to a medium mixing bowl.
  • Using a hand mixer beat until light and fluffy.
  • Add milk and vanilla and continue to mix with a hand mixer.
  • Add in flour and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips until combined.
  • Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for 6-7 days.

For Funfetti Cookie Dough

  • Omit brown sugar and add 2/3 cup white granulated sugar. Add 1/2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract, and replace chocolate chips with 3 Tbsp. sprinkles.

For Peanut Butter Cookie Dough

  • Add 1/4 cup unsalted butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup white granulated sugar, 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter, and replace chocolate chips with Reese's pieces.

Heat treating flour: By heat treating the flour you will eliminate the possibility of e-coli by killing an bacteria that may be in the raw flour. Spread 3 cups of all-purpose flour on a 9x13 baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350F oven for 7-8 minutes or until flour reaches 160F with a thermometer. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
