1/2cupunsalted butter, softened
1/2cupbrown sugar
3Tbsp.white granulated sugar
1/4tsp.salt
2Tbsp.milk
1/2tsp.vanilla
1/2cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions
Add butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt to a medium mixing bowl.
Using a hand mixer beat until light and fluffy.
Add milk and vanilla and continue to mix with a hand mixer.
Add in flour and mix until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips until combined.
Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for 6-7 days.
For Funfetti Cookie Dough
Omit brown sugar and add 2/3 cup white granulated sugar. Add 1/2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract, and replace chocolate chips with 3 Tbsp. sprinkles.
For Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
Add 1/4 cup unsalted butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup white granulated sugar, 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter, and replace chocolate chips with Reese's pieces.

Heat treating flour: By heat treating the flour you will eliminate the possibility of e-coli by killing an bacteria that may be in the raw flour. Spread 3 cups of all-purpose flour on a 9x13 baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350F oven for 7-8 minutes or until flour reaches 160F with a thermometer. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
