Homemade Ham and cheese Stromboli Recipe

This homemade ham and cheese stromboli recipe is a super simple, uses pizza dough and bakes up golden, cheesy, and so good every time.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 batch homemade or store-bought pizza dough click here for recipe
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 8 slices deli sliced ham
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll pizza dough out into a large rectangle and spread pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 2-inch border.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over sauce and top with sliced ham.
  • Roll up pizza dough like a jelly roll, then pinch and tuck the ends under.
  • Brush top with melted butter mixture, and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Gently cut a few slits in the top of the stromboli.
  • Place in a preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Place a piece of tin foil over top if it starts browning too fast. (cut stromboli in half and make sure the middle of the dough is cooked through. Place back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes if not completely done)
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Enjoy with a side of pizza sauce or ranch dressing. Enjoy!
