Cake 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/4 cup mashed bananas Frosting 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 6 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 3 cups powdered sugar

Cake Batter Preheat oven to 350F and spray a 9x13 cake pan with cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl beat softened butter and sugar until combined.
Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Continue beating until smooth and creamy.
Next, add flour, baking soda, and salt and beat until just combined.
Stir in mashed bananas until batter is mixed well.
Pour batter into prepared baking dish and bake for 30-32 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean with inserted in the middle.
Remove from the oven and allow cake to cool completely.
Cream Cheese Frosting Prepare frosting by beating softened butter and cream cheese until mixed well.
Add vanilla and powdered sugar and continue beating until smooth. *Frosting should be thick*
Frost cooled cake, top each piece of cake with a slice of banana and chopped walnuts if desired. Enjoy!
