Easy Sheet Pan Quesadillas With Ground Beef
Easy Sheet Pan Quesadillas with Ground Beef are the perfect dinner or party appetizer that everyone will love. Crispy tortillas filled with seasoned ground beef, black beans, salsa, and melted cheese baked to perfection. They are easy, full of flavor, and perfect when feeding a crowd.
Ingredients
- 8 large flour tortillas
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 15 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 3 cups shredded Mexican cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- In a large skillet brown ground beef and onion until beef is cooked through.
- Add minced garlic and cook for one minute. Drain any excess grease from pan.
- Add taco seasoning, black beans, and salsa to skillet and mix well to combine. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spray a large sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray. Line the sheet pan with 7 tortillas making sure tortillas are hanging halfway off the pan.
- Spread ground beef mixture evenly over tortillas making sure it goes all the way to the edges, then sprinkle with cheese.
- Place another tortilla in the center of the pan, on top of the meat and cheese. Fold each tortilla into the center.
- Spray top of tortillas with nonstick cooking spray and place a second sheet pan on top of quesadillas to hold them in place while baking.
- Place in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove top sheet pan and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
- Slice into individual serving and serve with aa side of salsa and sour cream. Enjoy!
