Add 1 cup of water to a 6-quart or larger Instant Pot. Place the metal trivet inside.
Pierce potatoes with a fork and place them on the trivet.
Put the lid on Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing. Select pressure cook high, high pressure. Set a time to cook for 15 minutes.
When the potatoes are done cooking, turn off the Instant Pot and let the pressure naturally release for 12 minutes. Then turn the valve to release allow any remaining pressure to be released.
Remove potatoes, cut each potato in half lengthwise; and top with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Cooke Times For Potato SizesThe cook times below are for cooking 1-4 potatoes at a time in a 6 quart Instant Pot Duo. For each additional potato add 1 minute of cook time and natural pressure release time.
Large Potatoes: (10 to 12 ounces each) Cook for 18 minutes on high pressure, with a natural pressure release of 15 minutes.
Medium Potatoes: (8 to 10 ounces each) Cook for 15 minutes on high pressure, with a natural pressure release of 12 minutes
Small Potatoes: (6 to 8 ounces each) Cook for 12 minutes on high pressure, with a natural pressure release of 10 minutes.
