Skillet Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Skillet chicken bacon ranch pasta is loaded with tender chicken, crispy bacon, bow tie pasta, and a creamy ranch-seasoned sauce made with mozzarella, parmesan, and heavy cream. Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts rotisserie chicken also works well
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Cajun seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup bacon crumbles
  • 10 oz. bow tie pasta, cooked al-dente any pasta will work

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Rinse and set aside.
  • Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  • Remove chicken from skillet and let it rest.
  • Add heavy cream and chicken broth to skillet with chicken bits. Whisk until mixture starts to thicken. Add shredded mozzarella, parmesan cheese and ranch seasoning. Continue to whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Add cubed chicken, cooked pasta, and bacon crumbles to cream sauce. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  • Serve warm with shredded parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
