Those are just a handful of our favorite recipes. But, you can bet that there will probably be a lot more coming soon. Because we love Chinese food so much.

How To Make Sesame Chicken
- In a medium bowl mix add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, sesame seeds, sweet chili sauce, and chicken broth. Whisk together until all ingredients are well combined. Set aside.
- Cut chicken into 3/4 inch pieces and set aside.
- In another medium bowl, add eggs, cornstarch, onion powder, and ground black pepper. Whisk together until well combined. Then, add chicken and stir to completely coat the chicken.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 1/2 tbsp of olive oil. Then, split the chicken into 2 batches and cook the first batch of chicken for 5-6 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Remove cooked chicken and set aside. Add 1 1/2 tbsp olive and repeat the steps to cook the chicken.
- When the chicken is done cooking add the first of the chicken back into the skillet. Lower the heat to medium-low and pour the sauce over the cooked chicken. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook until the sauce begins to thicken. About 2-3 minutes. Then remove from heat.
- Serve with rice and steamed vegetables while still hot. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
Variations
- Use Chicken Thighs: Traditionally this Chinese chicken recipe is made with chicken thighs. But, since 3/4 of my family will not eat chicken thighs. You can substitute the chicken breasts for thighs. If you want to make this a more authentic dish.
- Make it healthier: Skip frying the chicken and bake it. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the chicken out on the baking sheet and give each piece a little room. Bake for 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown. Another way to make it healthier is to ditch the cornstarch. Then, cook the chicken with 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat until it is browned and cooked through.
- Make It A Stir Fry: You can add a mixture of Asian vegetables or Asian noodles. If you are really wanting to mix it up you can add both.
