How To Make Instant Pot Alfredo Pasta Recipe
- Turn your Instant Pot to saute and add olive oil.
- Sprinkle both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning, onion powder, and garlic salt. Add them to the Instant Pot and brown both sides for 2 minutes.
- Remove chicken and cube into 3/4″ piece and add back into the Instant Pot.
- Add the chicken broth and pasta. Press the pasta down into the broth until completely covered.
- Put the lid on Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing. Select pressure cook high, high pressure. Set a time to cook for 3 minutes. This will cook the pasta to a perfect al dente. If you like a softer pasta, add 1 minute to the cooking time.
- When pasta is done cooking, turn off the Instant Pot and quickly release the pressure with the pressure release valve. Remove the lid and gradually stir in Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, and water. Make sure to mix all ingredients well until everything is melted together.
