What to Serve/Pair with Your taco bubble up bake

This is a Mexican-inspired dish, your choices of sides should stay in that realm of cuisine to make sure the flavors pair well together. Since this can be a heavier dish with savory meat and biscuits, some lighter sides would be great to offset the filling main course and make sure everyone can still enjoy them as well.

For example, Mexican street corn is a great choice that is full of tangy flavors and sweet corn. You can simply top the sweet corn with mayonnaise, chili powder, and cotija cheese and call it a day! You could also go with a side of cowboy caviar and chips!

For dessert, a simple fruit salsa with cinnamon sugar chips is a fun and delicious way to end the meal!

Meat-free substitutions – If you or someone you are cooking for is a vegetarian you can replace the ground beef with any meat substitute! The seasoning mixed together with the other ingredients will have you thinking twice about if it is actually vegetarian or not!

Gluten-free substitutions – If someone has a gluten allergy you can still use this recipe but you can replace the biscuits with this amazing brand. Bob’s Red Mill has a gluten-free biscuit mix that can be used as a replacement in this recipe.

How To Reheat & Store Mexican Bubble Pizza

Best Way To Store Taco Bubble Bake Leftover

The best way to store your Mexican bubble pizza is to place any leftovers in an airtight container with a lid. You should make sure you store only the bake itself, meaning, the biscuits with meat and cheese on top. You should store any toppings separately so that way reheating will be easier.

How Long Will Mexican Bubble Pizza Last In the Fridge?

Since the meat is fully cooked in this recipe, your leftovers should last between 3 to 5 days.

Can I Freeze Mexican Bubble Casserole

Yes, you can freeze any leftovers from your Mexican bubble pizza. Just be sure, like in the storing instructions, you store the bake itself in an airtight freezer-safe container. The other toppings are fresh vegetable ingredients so they should not be frozen with the Mexican bubble pizza bake.

How To Reheat Taco Bubble Bake

To reheat your leftover taco bubble bake-up casserole, you will just need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Take your leftovers out and place them on a shallow greased pan or dish. Place them in the oven for between 5 to 20 minutes, take it out once the ground beef has been warmed through to the center.

This was a hit! I tweaked just a little and added some red pepper flakes, onion powder, and seasoned salt to the tomato soup. I cut the biscuits into eight pieces because it was easier lol. Baked it for the same time with the smaller pieces, and it turned so great!! I’m in love with this, and it’s so quick and easy! My son ate one bite and said this has to be something we make a lot 🙂 I’m thinking next time I might try to add some refried beans in with the tomato soup? Thank you for sharing!

    • I’m so happy you all loved it. Thank you for sharing your additions, I would love to hear how it turns out with refried beans.
