What To Serve With Queso Blanco?

Queso Blanco isn’t just for eating with tortilla chips. There are a few options you can serve with white queso dip. I’ve listed a few of my favorites below.

Vegetables: Carrots, celery, and bell peppers.

Flavored Corn Chips: Any flavor of Dorito’s is delicious.

Bread: Try toasting some baguettes or serving with some pita bread.

Smothered Burritos: We love to smother chicken burritos or chimichangas with this Queso Blanco sauce.

White Queso Recipe Variations

  • Adjust the spice to your liking by adding more or less pickled jalapenos.
  • Can’t find Velveeta Queso Blanco, ask your local deli for 2 lbs. white American cheese.
  • Add diced tomatoes or chopped fresh cilantro.

Storage And Reheating

If you happen to have any leftovers, store white queso in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days. When you are ready to reheat, warm in the microwave or on the stovetop until warm throughout.

FAQ’s When Making Queso Blanco

Can I Substitute Half and Half For The Milk?

Yes, you can substitute half and half for the milk. You will find that your dip will be a little creamier, so you might want to add a little water to thin it out a bit.

Where Can I Find Pickled Jalapenos?

Pickled jalapenos come in a can or a jar and can be found down the Mexican isle of your local grocery store.

What If I Can’t Find Queso Blanco Cheese?

If you are unable to find Velveeta Queso Blanco cheese, you can use a white American cheese. I like to go to my local deli and get a big block of white cheese.
