This zesty bruschetta chicken pasta is an easy and delicious weeknight dinner. Chicken bruschetta pasta is one of my favorite meals to order whenever I see it on a restaurant menu, so I knew that I needed to try to recreate it at home. This recipe is the best version of this meal that Iโ€™ve ever had! I like it even more than the ones that I have eaten at restaurants. This Bruschetta Chicken Pasta recipe only has a few steps for you to follow, which makes it an ideal dinner for a busy weeknight. You start by cooking your pasta. While your pasta is cooking, you will season your chicken breast. Once it is seasoned to perfection, you will brown and cook your chicken in a skillet. Then you will sautรฉ your garlic and onion in the same skillet – this really adds a lot of flavors to this pasta dish. Your next step is to add in your tomatoes and your pasta until they are warm. You will love the way that the flavors soak into the pasta. Then you will add your parmesan and balsamic vinegar to the mixture. These are what really give this dish that zest that you get from bruschetta. Your final step is to slice your chicken and add it to the pasta. Your delicious bruschetta chicken pasta will be ready to serve! For an extra kick of flavor, you can top it off with a balsamic glaze and some extra parmesan.

What to Serve/Pair with Your Bruschetta Chicken Pasta

I always like to pair pasta dishes with bread. It always tastes so good when it is soaked in the sauce! My favorite bread to pair with this bruschetta chicken pasta with balsamic glaze is this Easy Homemade Garlic Parmesan Knots. The flavors in these bread knots pair perfectly with the flavors in the pasta.
To make this meal extra filling (and to get some veggies in), you can also pair this pasta with a salad. I like to make a spinach salad with carrots, cucumbers, and a light Italian dressing.  If you want to add some veggies but donโ€™t necessarily want a salad, this Grilled Asparagus also pairs well with the bruschetta chicken pasta.

Popular Substitutions & Additions

If you donโ€™t have spaghetti noodles on hand or want to try it with a different type of pasta, you can substitute another pasta, such as ziti or rigatoni, for the thin spaghetti noodles.

If you want your pasta dish to be extra cheesy, melt some parmesan on top of your serving.

Storage & Leftovers

This easy chicken bruschetta pasta is delicious when it is leftover! The flavors really have time to sink in. To store any leftovers, keep them in an airtight container in the fridge. They will last for up to 3 days. To reheat, divide your chicken pasta into individual portions and microwave in 30 second increments until they are warm enough to enjoy.

FAQs

Can I use fresh garlic instead of minced garlic?

For this bruschetta chicken pasta recipe, you will want to use minced garlic. Not only does it flavor it evenly, but it is also a time saver.

What is bruschetta?

Bruschetta is an Italian appetizer. It is usually served with bread, but I like to use it in a lot of different ways when I am cooking! It is typically a combination of tomatoes, olive oil, basil, and balsamic vinegar.

Can I use meat other than chicken?

Sure! I like how the flavors soak into the chicken in this bruschetta chicken pasta, but you could also try this recipe with fish or shrimp. If you think that the flavors of the tomato, balsamic vinegar, and spices will taste good on it, go ahead and try it!
