- Ground Beef
- Taco Seasoning
- Water
- Dorito’s
- Black Beans
- Corn
- Ro-Tel
- Green Chili’s
- Salsa
- Cream of Chicken Soup
- Sour Cream
- Shredded Cheese
- Cilantro for Garnish
How to make the best Taco Casserole with Dorito’s
Add ground beef to a medium size skillet and cook over medium-high heat until browned. Add taco seasoning and water, cook until sauce has thickened. In a large bowl add seasoned ground beef, black beans, corn, Ro-Tel, green chili’s, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salsa, and half of the shredded cheese. Stir to combine well.
Lightly crush a bag of Dorito’s and add half to the bottom of a lightly greased casserole dish. Pour the ground beef mixture over crushed Dorito’s and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and add the other half of the crushed Dorito’s and remaining shredded cheese. Bake for an additional 6-8 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Taco Casserole with Dorito’s is best served with sour cream, sliced olives, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes. Enjoy!
Taco Casserole With Dorito’s
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 2/3 cup water
- 1- 14.5 oz. bag of Dorito’s, crushed
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 10 oz can mild diced tomatoes and green chiles (Ro-tel)
- 2 4oz. can green chili’s
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 10.75 oz. can cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and sliced olives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven To 375F and lightly grease a 9×13 casserole dish
- Add ground beef to a medium size skillet and cook over medium-high heat until browned.
- Add taco seasoning and water and cook until it starts to thicken.
- In a large mixing bowl add seasoned ground beef, black beans, corn, Ro-Tel, green chili’s, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salsa, and half of the shredded cheese. Stir to combine well.
- Lightly crush bag of Dorito’s and add half to the bottom of the casserole dish.
- Pour ground beef mixture over crushed Dorito’s and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and add remaining crushed Dorito’s and shredded cheese. Continue baking for an addition 6-8 minutes or until cheese has melted.
- Serve casserole with sour cream, sliced olives, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes. Enjoy!
