Ingredients for the best Dorito Casserole

  • Ground Beef
  • Taco Seasoning
  • Water
  • Dorito’s
  • Black Beans
  • Corn
  • Ro-Tel
  • Green Chili’s
  • Salsa
  • Cream of Chicken Soup
  • Sour Cream
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Cilantro for Garnish

How to make the best Taco Casserole with Dorito’s

Add ground beef to a medium size skillet and cook over medium-high heat until browned. Add taco seasoning and water, cook until sauce has thickened. In a large bowl add seasoned ground beef, black beans, corn, Ro-Tel, green chili’s, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salsa, and half of the shredded cheese. Stir to combine well.

Lightly crush a bag of Dorito’s and add half to the bottom of a lightly greased casserole dish. Pour the ground beef mixture over crushed Dorito’s and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and add the other half of the crushed Dorito’s and remaining shredded cheese. Bake for an additional 6-8 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Taco Casserole with Dorito’s is best served with sour cream, sliced olives, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1- 14.5 oz. bag of Dorito’s, crushed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 10 oz can mild diced tomatoes and green chiles (Ro-tel)
  • 2 4oz. can green chili’s
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 10.75 oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and sliced olives for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven To 375F and lightly grease a 9×13 casserole dish
  • Add ground beef to a medium size skillet and cook over medium-high heat until browned.
  • Add taco seasoning and water and cook until it starts to thicken.
  • In a large mixing bowl add seasoned ground beef, black beans, corn, Ro-Tel, green chili’s, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salsa, and half of the shredded cheese. Stir to combine well.
  • Lightly crush bag of Dorito’s and add half to the bottom of the casserole dish.
  • Pour ground beef mixture over crushed Dorito’s and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and add remaining crushed Dorito’s and shredded cheese. Continue baking for an addition 6-8 minutes or until cheese has melted.
  • Serve casserole with sour cream, sliced olives, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes. Enjoy!
