FAQs
Can I use a type of cheese other than Swiss on these Cuban sliders?
Sure, feel free to use a different type of cheese on these sliders. My family prefers Swiss, and that is what is typically used on authentic Cuban sliders, but use whichever type of cheese you like best! Make sure that it is one that will melt well.
Where will I find pre-cooked pulled pork at the grocery store?
Pre-cooked pulled pork can usually be found in the meat department. If you donโt see it there, there are some brands that are available in the frozen section. Just make sure that the one that you choose for this Cuban slider recipe is sauceless.
Can I use sweet pickles instead of dill pickles on these Cuban sliders?
Sure. Traditional Cuban sliders have dill pickles, and my family loves the tang of the dill, but you can opt for sweet pickles if that is your preference.
