How to make Asian Chicken Wraps
I always have frozen chicken on hand, but you can always use a rotisserie chicken from your local grocery store. Start by browning chicken breasts in a medium skillet until brown and no longer pink. Slice grilled chicken into strips and set aside while you make your cabbage filling.
Next, you are going to prepare the peanut sauce filling. In a small bowl add honey, peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, and salt and pepper. Mix well to combine. In a medium size bowl, add coleslaw, shredded carrots, cilantro, and homemade peanut sauce. Toss ingredients to combine.
How to assemble Oriental Chicken Wraps
Assembling your Peanut Chicken Wrap is so easy. Warm your tortillas in the microwave for 10 seconds to make them easy to work with. Divide sliced grilled chicken and oriental chicken filling between 6 tortillas. Wrap up tightly, and serve immediately. Oriental Chicken Wraps are paired nicely with sweet potato fries, or potato fries. If your like my family and like extra sauce for dipping, double your peanut sauce.
Can I use store bought peanut sauce?
If your short on time or have a bottle of peanut sauce in your pantry, you can easily use that for this Peanut Chicken Wrap. Add about 1 cup of your bottled peanut sauce, and toss to mix well.
