What to Serve/Pair with Your Slow Cooker Ritz Cracker Chicken

Slow cooker Ritz chicken is a delicious entree but, of course, you’ll want something to go with it! I always serve mine with mashed potatoes or rice. That combo really makes it feel like a comfort meal! These Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes are usually my go-to. I also like to try to get a veggie in with dinner. If you want to have something that can be made in advance, try this broccoli salad. You can make it beforehand and just pull it out of the fridge to serve with dinner.

Popular Substitutions & Additions

If you or your kids are not fans of mushrooms, you can switch the cream of mushroom soup out for cream of celery.

Plain Greek yogurt can be substituted for sour cream in this Ritz chicken recipe.

My husband always requests an extra sleeve of Ritz. This is a good option if you really enjoy the buttery crackers or want some extra crunch.

Storage & Leftovers

Slow cooker Ritz chicken can be stored in the fridge in a sealed container for up to two days. You can reheat this chicken recipe in the slow cooker or in the microwave.

This sounds really comforting. If I wanted to make this in oven, do you have a recommendation about temp/time?

    • April King

I would set your oven to 350 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
