I have made this delicious snack mix many times over the years. I have listed a few tips that I wish I would have known when I first made this recipe. Follow the instructions and tips below, and you will have perfectly delicious, and highly addictive gooey Chex mix.

Boil: Make sure after butter mixture comes to a boil you let it boil for 2-3 minutes, continually stirring.

Nuts: If you’re not a fan of slivered almonds feel free to use peanuts, cashews, or pecans. They are all great options.

Butter: This recipe calls for unsalted butter. If you only have salted butter on hand, omit the salt.

Large Bowl: Be sure to use a large bowl when making this recipe. It makes quite a bit, so you need a bowl large enough to mix ingredients properly.

Small Batch: If you would like to make a smaller batch, cut recipe in half.
