One of my favorite things about slow cooker meals is that they pretty much make themselves. All you have to do is get everything into the crock pot. This Swedish Meatballs recipe is no different. You add your cream of mushroom soup, the beef broth, the onion soup mix, and the Worcestershire sauce into the slow cooker. Whisk them all together, then add in your frozen meatballs. Thatโ€™s all that there is to it! You will let these meatballs cook for a few hours, add in the sour cream, then they will be ready to serve! For a filling dinner, we always serve these over egg noodles or even mashed potatoes.

FAQs

Do I need to spray or line my crock pot for these Swedish meatballs?

I always recommend either spraying or lining your crock pot. It makes cleanup much easier, I promise!

Can I make my own meatballs for this Swedish meatballs recipe?

For this recipe, you will want to use frozen meatballs. Homemade meatballs are often soft and crumbly and will not stay together in the crock pot.ย

Can I freeze these Swedish meatballs?

I wouldnโ€™t recommend freezing these Crock Pot Swedish Meatballs because the meatballs have already been frozen and thawed. Freezing them again may dry them out. One of the best parts of this recipe is that the prep time is very small, so you can wait until the day that you want to eat them and throw them into the slow cooker.
