Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts are an easy dinner ideas for busy nights. It has an amazing honey garlic sauce that is so easy to make. The best part is you don’t have to marinate the chicken, but it still has amazing flavor.
Honey Garlic Chicken Breast Ingredients
You can substitute the chicken breasts for chicken thighs. Depending on the size of the thighs they will cook a little bit faster. So keep and eye on them so you don’t over cook them.
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Honey
- Flour
- Unsalted butter
- Soy Sauce
- Garlic
- Fresh Parsley
How To Make Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts
Start by butterflying chicken, by slicing horizontally into the chicken, dividing it half creating 4 pieces. Then, dredge both sides of the chicken breasts in flour. Shake of excess flour.
In a large pan or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until melted. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on each side. About 2-3 minutes each side. Then slide the chicken to the edges of pan. Add remaining butter and garlic. Saute garlic for 30 seconds or until golden brown.
Add salt, black pepper, honey, soy sauce and vinegar. Bring the sauce to a simmer for 1 minute until it begins to thicken. Then start to turn the chicken breasts in the sauce with tongs until they are completely coated.
Remove chicken from pan and plate. Pour remain sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley.
What To Serve With Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts
One of my favorite side dishes to serve this with is Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes. There is just enough sauce from the chicken to drizzle over the top of the mashed potatoes.
It also goes amazing with Garlic Parmesan Potatoes With Bacon which is pictured above. The Parmesan and bacon compliment the flavors of the honey and garlic.
