Tips for making the best snickerdoodle bars

  • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or a non stick baking mat. This will keep the bottom of the cookie bars soft and the clean up is a breeze.
  • Don’t over bake cookie bars. You want them to be just a little under cooked, as they will continue baking in the pan as they cool.
  • Don’t over mix the cookie dough, this will cause your cookie bars to become dense. Mix until the dough is just combined.
