- Unsalted Butter
- Granulated Sugar
- Brown Sugar
- Eggs
- Vanilla
- Baking Soda
- Cream of Tatar
- Salt
- Flour
- Cinnamon
How to make the best snickerdoodle cookie bars
- Preheat oven to 350F and line a 9×13 baking sheet with parchment paper of a non stick baking mat.
- In a small bowl whisk 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
- Cream granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter with a a hand mixer until combined.
- Add in eggs and vanilla and continue mixing until fully combined.
- Slowly add in flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar until combined well.
- Press cookie dough onto prepared baking sheet.
- Evenly sprinkle cinnamon sugar topping over cookie dough mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the edges are set and start to turn golden brown. The center of the cookie bar should be lightly set. *Be careful not to over cook or cookie bars will become dry and crumbly*
